Description
The roof is a beautiful lilac bellflower, and flowering creepers spread across the white walls with abandon – because fairies simply can’t resist flowers. White stones, framed with small flowering groundcovers lead up to the ornate lilac-blue door, and around the garden mushrooms emerge from the mossy soil – because fairies also can’t resist mushrooms.
By day the small frosted windows shimmer with subtle glints of many colours, and at night they allow just enough soft light through to intrigue.
This bespoke fairy house is crafted with polymer clay on a recycled glass jar. It is painted with acrylic paint before being sealed, and is finished off underneath with felt material to prevent scratching of surfaces. It is perfect indoors or under covered patios, but is too delicate to be placed outdoors where it is exposed to the elements.
When moving your fairy house around, treat it with care and pick it up using flat surfaces – not by pressing down on any protruding parts like flowers, leaves or small mushrooms as this can cause breakage. It’s tougher than you may think but treat these more delicate parts as you would glass.
CAUTION: The lid is not attached – do not turn upside down.
Price includes a string of battery operated fairy lights. Lift off the flower roof to switch the lights on.
The bellflower fairy house was designed for adults and is not suitable for children, nevertheless it is a totally unique gift to give for a baby shower, and will attract attention wherever it is placed in the home, or under covered outdoor entertainment areas.
