Description
The terracotta tiled roof of this house is adorned with two cannabis leaves which complement the ochre yellow walls which are decorated with spirals of tiny ‘peep’ holes – because fairies adore peep holes. The wooden doorway is framed with a walkway of small white pebbles and cerulean blue tiles, and alongside the pebbled entrance and surrounding gravel garden magic mushrooms flourish amongst the Irish moss -because fairies simply can’t resist mushrooms! The single ornate window at the back of the house, made with the bottom of a plastic re-cycled bottle, allows just enough soft light through at night to illuminate without being harsh.
This fairy house is crafted with polymer clay on a re-cycled glass bottle, and comes with a string of battery operated fairy lights. To open and put the fairy lights on, lift the lid off the jar. CAUTION: The lid is not attached – do not turn upside down.
It is painted with acrylic paint before being sealed, and is finished off underneath with felt material to prevent scratching of surfaces. It is perfect indoors or under covered patios, but is too delicate to be placed outdoors where it is exposed to the elements.
By day and night, you will be enchanted by this delicate fairy house, and it makes a unique gift for your friends and family – and you may just feel like spoiling yourself!
