Description
This magical forest fairy house is built inside a hollow tree stump, and is covered with moss and autumn leaves. Tiny mushrooms line the real wood, stepping stone pathway leading up to the quaint viridian green front door. Two small windows flank the sides and a green chimney adorns the back. By day the frosted windows shimmer with subtle glints of many colours, and at night they allow just enough soft light through to add to the enchantment.
This fairy house is crafted with polymer clay over a re-cycled glass jar, and the price includes a string of battery operated fairy lights. To switch them on just lift the house up. Because of its delicate nature it is not suitable for very small children and will require an adult to switch it on and off.
It is painted with acrylic paint before being sealed, and is finished off underneath with felt material to prevent scratching of surfaces. It is perfect indoors or under covered patios, but is too delicate to be placed outdoors where it is exposed to the elements.
