Description
The fairies used a large magic mushroom for the roof of this delightful house, adorned with leaves and a bright red chimney to keep it cosy in winter. The light yellow walls are festooned with an assortment of vines and flowers – because fairies adore flowers. Black pavers and a ‘welcome’ mat lead up to the immaculate little red door framed with red bricks to compliment the overall colour scheme, and its star-shaped ‘peep’ hole, because fairies like to peep. Small ‘peeping’ windows are scattered around the walls which glitter in gold, red and blue, by day, and at night they allow soft light through to beguile. Fallen leaves, flowers and baby magic mushrooms emerge from mossy the soil – because fairies simply can’t resist mushrooms.
This bespoke fairy house is crafted with polymer clay on a recycled glass jar. It is painted with acrylic paint before being sealed, and is finished off underneath with felt material to prevent scratching of surfaces.
