This house is the perfect gift for a child, but grownup ‘children’ will love it too! Price includes a string of battery operated fairy lights.
It is topped by a distinctive violet-purple hat that complements the grey walls adorned with clinging ivy laden with fruits. A clump of gorgeous dark arums complements the entrance and the large frosted window shimmers with subtle glints of many colours, allowing just enough soft light through. The entrance is enhanced with black pavers and a broom stands ready against the door, and on one side a little seat with a newly picked rose stands close to a simmering cauldron.
This fairy house is crafted with polymer clay, on a re-cycled glass bottle and the small fairy lights controls are mounted underneath the brim of the hat, at the back. CAUTION: The lid is not attached – do not turn upside down. Because of its delicate nature it is not suitable for very small children and may require an adult to switch it on and off.
It is painted with acrylic paint before being sealed, and is finished off underneath with felt material to prevent scratching of surfaces. It is perfect indoors or under covered patios, but is too delicate to be placed outdoors where it is exposed to the elements. To keep it clean, blow the dust off with a hairdryer or dust gently with a thick makeup brush, and wipe down with a soft, damp cloth.
